Affordable EMIs on Airtel Online Store
To ensure that the Airtel Online Store provides an easy and hassle-free financing solution, Airtel has partnered with Seynse Technologies (developers of Loan Singh). This collaboration allows a customer to simply add the smartphone to his/her cart, purchase the smartphone via instant credit verification and receive the same at their doorstep. This is a pioneering process of the Airtel Online Store that combines both e-commerce and instant online financing.
Goa-based Seynse Technologies Pvt. Ltd prides itself in being associated with Airtel for the Airtel Online Store in allowing creditworthy individuals to buy the smartphones. The role of Seynse, in the partnership, is to enable the technology and credit underwriting. Seynse simply determines if the customer is eligible to avail credit. This is nothing new for Seynse. Seynse is already the developer of a LaaS (Lending as a Service) platform called Loan Singh, which provides an online personal loan to salaried individuals. Loan Singh covers the entire digital loan lifecycle from application to disbursement, including EMI repayment and managing fund flow. Seamless integration between participating entities makes the entire loan lifecycle an everlasting experience.

The Samsung Galaxy A8+ comes with Samsung’s most anticipated feature – Infinity Display. The A8+ is the first to feature Samsung’s 18:5:9 Super AMOLED display. The display, however, does not curve at the edges. The smartphone also comes with an IP68 dust and water-resistant screen. At its current price, you can fit the A8+ among the other leading contenders of this segment such as the Honor View 10 or the OnePlus 5T. All of them have a common processing power and lens packed cameras.
The design for the A8+ is fantastic. It looks like a premium phone, with a sandwiched glass and metal design. The smartphone has gotten taller compared to the A7 of 2017. It is also thinner than the A7. The back and front of the A8+ feature a glass slab that runs from top to bottom. The ends are also rounded. Packed between the two curved glass slabs is the metal body. The camera has no outward protrusion, with no worries with regards to any damage on placing the phone on its back. The speaker grille is at the right-hand side of the phone, placed above the power button. On the left sides are the volume buttons and the SIM tray. The bottom features the USB-C port and the headphone jack. The top allows the slotting of the second SIM and the microSD card slot. It is an ideal smartphone for gaming enthusiasts thanks to its 6GB RAM. The fingerprint scanner is placed at the back.
The AMOLED display is a staple of Samsung. The one fitted on the A8+ is a fantastic example of this feature. The display operates at a resolution of 1080×2220 pixels which feel sharp, thanks to its pixel density of 411 PPI. The color tones were pleasing on the eye, with viewing experience enhanced. You can also add a blue light filter while reading in the dark.
Not to bore you all with the technical aspects, the A8+ for starters comes with the Android offering of Nougat. This easily fits in with your day to day operations. There is a Game Launcher provided (which will appease hardcore gamers). Through this, you can turn off notifications while playing and screen record. Samsung Pay makes a comeback, which enables you to make payments to POS terminals. The other basic software related features you need to know about is the presence of multi-window and one-handed support.
The 16MP camera is capable of capturing some detailed images. Pictures come sharply with good contrast. There is no OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), but the images look fine. You get Live Focus (adjusting background blur) on the dual front cameras (for selfie lovers). The two front cameras come with a 16MP sensor and an 8MP sensor. The video shooting is limited at 1080p for both – front and back cameras.
The phone comes with a 3500 mAh non-removable Li-ion battery. It can be recharged quickly with Samsung’s Adaptive Fast Charging feature. The phone comes with GPS and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The features of Samsung Galaxy A8+ include the accelerometer, proximity sensor, compass, barometer, gyro sensor and face recognition software.
